What causes Keloid scars?
It may be caused by an overactive healing response.
Is Laser Keloid Removal painful?
It is not completely painless. But the sensation is tolerable and a topical numbing agent may be used for added comfort.
How many sessions are recommended?
The number of sessions varies depending on the size of the keloid scar. But, there must be an interval of 2 to 4 weeks in between shots.
How soon can results be seen?
During the procedure, the scar tissue appears paler. But it will take about 2 to 6 weeks for results to fully be evident.
