Hialid 0.1% is a clear, colorless, viscous, sterile, aqueous ophthalmic solution which contains purified sodium hyaluronate at a concentration of 1mg/mL. It also contains aminocaproic acid, disodium edetate hydrate and benzalkonium chloride as additives. Its pH is 6.0-7.0 and its osmolar ratio is 0.9-1.1.
Halid 0.1% is indicated for the treatment of keratoconjunctival epithelial injury associated with the following diseases or causes:
- Endogenous diseases such as Sjorgen’s syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, dry eye syndrome, and other diseases.
- Exogenous diseases caused by surgery, drugs, trauma, contact lens wearing, and other causes.
Dosage and Administrations:
Instill one drop, 5-6 times daily. The dosage should be modified according to the symptom.
