ULTRA LASIK ADVANCED

The country’s premier and most advanced LASIK procedure just got even better, being in step with the constant advancements in technology. Shinagawa’s renowned ULTRA LASIK just got better as it developed into ULTRA LASIK ADVANCED.
Harnessing the power of Femto LDV Z6 and Schwind Amaris 1050 RS, ULTRA LASIK ADVANCED brings the advancement of the LASIK procedure to a whole new level.

This advanced combination presents an 8D Eye Tracking System that allows our medical team to achieve even better precision than the already very accurate version of the ULTRA LASIK.

ULTRA LASIK ADVANCED effectively and accurately corrects refractive errors such as hyperopia, myopia, presbyopia, and astigmatism. This procedure is highly recommended for patients with a higher degree of astigmatism and those with big pupils.

ULTRA LASIK

ULTRA LASIK Treatment is the gold standard for LASIK procedures with its fast healing and recovery rate. It uses the combination of two advanced technologies, SCHWIND AMARIS 750S (the absolute best performance from the technology leader) and FEMTO LDV Ziemer 6 (the most premium and a real breakthrough FEMTO Laser technology). The power of these two technologies assures greater results while ensuring comfort and safety.
ULTRA LASIK Treatment is done to effectively correct refractive errors such as hyperopia, myopia, and astigmatism.

This procedure is highly recommended for patients with a higher degree of astigmatism. It presents one of the world’s highest-performance eye laser systems for refractive and therapeutic corneal surgery.

All these advantages add up to one thing in particular – safe and amazing results for our patients.

SCHWIND AMARIS 750S is an exceptionally high-speed, high-precision eye laser system for refractive and therapeutic corneal surgery. The very fine 0.54 mm laser spot it shares with all SCHWIND AMARIS lasers further enhances the precision and smooth corneal modelling of this device. The swivelling laser arm provides the maximum convenience for doctor and patient.

ULTRA LASIK is a variation of the traditional LASIK eye surgery, designed to provide improved vision correction with potentially enhanced precision and reduced recovery times.
  • Enhanced Precision: Ultra LASIK uses advanced technology to map the eye more precisely, leading to a more accurate correction of vision issues like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
  • Reduced Recovery Time: Many patients experience a quicker recovery with Ultra LASIK, often seeing improvements in their vision within a day or two. This is partly due to the advanced techniques that minimize trauma to the eye.
  • Reduced Risk of Dry Eye: The newer technology used in Ultra LASIK can help preserve more of the corneal nerves, which may reduce the risk of post-operative dry eye, a common side effect of traditional LASIK.
  • Less Discomfort: The procedure often results in less discomfort both during and after the surgery compared to traditional LASIK, thanks to improved techniques and technologies.
  • Increased Customization: Ultra LASIK allows for highly individualized treatment plans based on detailed mapping of the eye, which can lead to better visual outcomes and fewer visual distortions.
  • Improved Night Vision: Advances in Ultra LASIK technology can help reduce issues with night vision, such as halos and glare, which are sometimes experienced with traditional LASIK.
  • Advanced Wavefront Technology: Ultra LASIK often employs cutting-edge wavefront technology to create a detailed map of the eye’s imperfections, allowing for a more precise correction tailored to the individual’s unique visual needs.

  • Femtosecond Laser Technology: This newer laser technology can create corneal flaps with greater accuracy and less heat than traditional microkeratomes, enhancing safety and reducing the risk of complications.

  • Topography-Guided Treatment: Ultra LASIK can use corneal topography to guide the treatment, ensuring that irregularities in the cornea are corrected more effectively, which can improve overall visual quality.

  • Personalized Treatment: The procedure can be highly customized based on specific measurements of your eyes, potentially leading to better visual outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.

  • Smaller Incisions and Minimal Tissue Removal: Advances in technology allow for smaller incisions and minimal removal of corneal tissue, which can contribute to faster healing and less risk of complications.

For ULTRA LASIK, Shinagawa Lasik & Aesthetics Center offers an up to 8-year comprehensive enhancement warranty that can be taken up either in the Philippines or Japan. In the rare event that another procedure is required, there will be no consultation or surgical charges for the enhancement.

Ultra LASIK is an advanced form of LASIK eye surgery that utilizes state-of-the-art technology for improved precision and outcomes. The main differences include the use of more sophisticated mapping techniques, such as wavefront or topography-guided systems, and advanced laser technologies. These advancements help in providing a more customized treatment plan and potentially better visual results compared to traditional LASIK.
While Ultra LASIK offers many benefits, it may not be suitable for everyone. Ideal candidates are typically over 18, have stable vision, and are free from certain eye conditions or diseases. Your eye surgeon will conduct a thorough evaluation, including detailed eye mapping and an assessment of your overall eye health, to determine if Ultra LASIK is the right choice for you.
The Ultra LASIK procedure is generally quick and minimally invasive. During the surgery, your eye will be numbed with anesthetic drops. A suction ring may be used to keep the eye steady, and a laser will be used to create a corneal flap and reshape the cornea. The procedure usually takes around 10-15 minutes per eye. Many patients experience minimal discomfort and can resume normal activities within a day or two.

We use a bladeless all-laser treatment. First the femrosecond laser creates a microscopic ultra-thin flap in the surface of the cornea then the SCHWIND AMARIS 1050RS laser models the cornea. Each laser is activated for only a matter of seconds and the entire procedure takes only a few minutes.

While Ultra LASIK is considered safe, there are potential risks and side effects, including dry eyes, glare, halos, or under- or over-correction of vision. The advanced technology used in Ultra LASIK aims to minimize these risks, but they can still occur. It’s important to discuss any concerns with your eye surgeon and follow their post-operative care instructions to reduce the likelihood of complications.
Recovery times can vary, but many patients experience significant improvement in their vision within a day or two after the procedure. Most people can return to normal activities, such as driving and working, within a few days. However, it’s important to follow your surgeon’s post-operative care instructions, attend follow-up appointments, and avoid activities that could strain your eyes, such as swimming or heavy lifting, for a few weeks.
